Now, leading platform Kalshi has taken its first public action against accounts suspected of trading on confidential information, suspending an editor who previously worked for popular YouTube creator MrBeast.
Kalshi, a regulated cryptocurrency-based prediction market, revealed the insider trading case in a recent announcement. The platform stated that it had uncovered evidence of an editor, who had access to non-public information about MrBeast's business, making trades based on that confidential data.
