Ockenden, who previously led high-profile investigations into maternity scandals at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, is widely respected for her expertise and commitment to improving the quality and safety of maternal and infant care across the National Health Service (NHS).
