Federal Judge Orders Pentagon to Restore Press Access Immediately
A US judge has ruled that the Pentagon has violated his order to undo a restrictive new press pass policy, and has demanded the return of credentials to 7 New York Times reporters.
In a major victory for press freedom, a federal judge has ordered the Pentagon to immediately restore press access that was restricted under a new policy. Judge Paul Friedman ruled that the Department of Defense has failed to comply with his earlier order that overturned much of the controversial press pass regulations.
