Accused Bondi Gunman Fights to Shield Family from Media Scrutiny

Alleged Bondi shooter Naveed Akram petitions court to prevent media from publishing personal details about his mother, sister, and brother, raising questions about privacy and public interest.
Naveed Akram, the man accused of opening fire in Bondi, is seeking a court order to suppress the publication of details about his mother, sister, and brother. The 28-year-old, who was charged with shooting a 48-year-old man in the leg, is arguing that revealing information about his family members would be an invasion of their privacy.
Akram's legal team has filed an application with the New South Wales Supreme Court, requesting that the court prohibit media outlets from publishing any details that could identify his close relatives. This includes their names, images, and any other personal information.
