Affordable Yet Powerful: Apple Unveils the All-New iPhone 17e

The latest budget-friendly iPhone from Apple boasts an A19 chip, MagSafe charging, and 256GB of storage - all for just $599.
Apple's annual iPhone unveilings typically take center stage in September, but the tech giant is once again shaking things up with a new budget-friendly offering in March. The iPhone 17e is the latest iteration of Apple's entry-level smartphone, replacing last year's iPhone 16e and promising a host of upgrades that aim to bridge the gap with its more premium counterparts.
At the heart of the iPhone 17e lies Apple's powerful A19 chip, which shares a similar architecture to the one found in the higher-end iPhone 17. Both devices feature six CPU cores, though the 17e opts for four GPU cores instead of the 17's five. Additionally, the phone's cellular modem has received a boost, upgrading from the original Apple C1 to the faster Apple C1X, enabling speedier connectivity.
