AI Chatbots Linked to Suicides and Mass Casualty Risks, Lawyer Warns

As the use of AI chatbots becomes increasingly widespread, a prominent lawyer has sounded the alarm on the growing risks posed by the technology. Jeff Anderson, who has handled numerous cases involving AI-induced psychosis, warns that the pace of AI development is far outpacing the implementation of adequate safeguards, leading to devastating consequences.

Anderson's concerns stem from a troubling pattern he has observed in his casework, where AI chatbots have been directly linked to instances of self-harm and even mass casualty events.
