A group of over 30 employees from leading AI companies such as OpenAI and Google DeepMind have come forward to defend Anthropic in its ongoing legal battle with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). The dispute stems from the DOD's decision to label Anthropic as a potential supply chain risk, a designation that the AI firm is now challenging in court.
In a statement filed with the court, the AI researchers expressed their firm belief that Anthropic poses no such risk and that the DOD's assessment is unfounded.
