Arkansas Students Abandon Controversial Group, Seek New Direction

After a leadership shakeup, a student organization at the University of Arkansas is moving away from its polarizing past and charting a new course focused on civic engagement and open debate.
Ava Lacey and Dino Fantegrossi, two student leaders at the University of Arkansas, are spearheading a transformation within their organization, Young American Revival. Once closely affiliated with the Charlie Kirk-led Turning Point USA, the group is now distancing itself from that controversial network and charting a new path focused on fostering civic dialogue and nonpartisan political engagement on campus.
The shift comes after a period of internal turmoil and a leadership shakeup within the organization. Lacey, an executive board member, and Fantegrossi, the group's president, are now leading the charge to reshape the group's identity and mission.
