21-year-old armed man killed by Secret Service at Trump's Florida resort. Investigation focuses on his motives and movements before the incident.
Austin Tucker Martin, a 21-year-old man from North Carolina, was shot and killed by Secret Service after entering Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida while carrying a shotgun on Sunday. The focus of the FBI's investigation is now tightening on Martin's movements and motives leading up to the incident.
Martin, who came from a family of the president's supporters, had reportedly become increasingly fixated on the so-called Jeffrey Epstein files. He was confronted by Secret Service agents and a local sheriff's deputy inside the secure perimeter of Mar-a-Lago and killed after he had raised the shotgun into the shooting position at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to law enforcement.
