Artemis Crew Returns From Historic Lunar Voyage

Houston, Texas - The four Artemis astronauts received a hero's welcome as they touched down in Houston this week, completing a historic 9-day voyage around the Moon that took them farther from Earth than any humans have ever traveled.
The crew - Commander Nicole Mann, Pilot Josh Cassada, Mission Specialist Koichi Wakata, and Mission Specialist Kānaka Kīʻaha - were all smiles as they emerged from the Orion spacecraft, basking in the adulation of friends, family, and NASA officials who had gathered to celebrate their safe return.
