Australia has granted asylum to two more members of the Iranian women's football team, bringing the total number of players from the team who have been given refuge in the country to seven, according to the Australian home affairs minister.
The latest asylum recipients join five other members of the team who were previously granted protection by the Australian government amidst the ongoing unrest and crackdown on women's rights in Iran.
