A devastating bus crash in Nepal has claimed the life of a British national, along with 18 other people, according to the Nepalese police. The tragic incident occurred when the bus, carrying over 30 passengers, plunged off a mountain road in the country's western region.
The 24-year-old British man was one of the victims of the crash, which took place in the Palpa district, approximately 190 miles west of the capital city of Kathmandu. Nepalese authorities have reported that the bus was traveling from the popular tourist destination of Pokhara to the town of Butwal when the accident happened.
