British Warship Arrives in Eastern Mediterranean Amid Regional Tensions

HMS Dragon, a British destroyer, has arrived in the eastern Mediterranean, three weeks after an Iranian-made drone hit the British base of RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus. The ship will begin integrating with Cyprus's defense.
The British naval vessel, HMS Dragon, has arrived in the eastern Mediterranean region, according to the UK's Defence Secretary, John Healey. This development comes just three weeks after an Iranian-made drone struck the British military base of RAF Akrotiri on the island of Cyprus.
Healey told members of parliament that the Type 45 destroyer will begin integrating with Cyprus's defense operations starting on Monday night. This move is seen as a strategic response to the recent drone attack and heightened tensions in the region.
