Brits trapped in Iran amid the escalating war are racking up thousands in hotel bills and missing critical medical treatments as they struggle to find a way out of the country. With flights in and out of Iran severely restricted, many British travelers have found themselves stranded, forced to extend their stays and pay exorbitant prices for lodging and food.
One British woman, who asked to remain anonymous, told the BBC that she had missed a crucial chemo appointment due to being unable to leave Iran.
