Brutal Blizzard Slams Northeast, Millions Trapped Indoors

Massive winter storm dumps record snowfall, forces road travel bans and blizzard warnings across major cities in the Northeast US.
A powerful winter storm has paralyzed the northeastern United States, with millions of residents under road travel bans and facing blizzard conditions that have blanketed the region in deep snow and strong winds.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), blizzard warnings have been issued for large swaths of New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, as snowfall totals have reached at least 2 feet in 21 different cities and towns across the affected area. In some locations, the snow has been accompanied by wind gusts exceeding 30 mph, creating whiteout conditions and severely limiting visibility.
