Developing nations face shelving of climate action plan at IMF and World Bank meetings as they desperately seek funds to protect citizens from climate impacts.
Developing countries face possible shelving of a crucial green action plan at the upcoming IMF and World Bank spring meetings, as they are being urged not to mention the climate crisis despite needing funds to protect their citizens from its growing impacts.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) spring meetings will take place this week against a backdrop of a fragile ceasefire in Iran and upended geopolitics.
