Curb the Billionaire's Grip: Reclaiming America's Democracy

Explore the urgent need to reduce the outsized influence of America's 900+ billionaires on our government, economy, and democracy.
In today's new Gilded Age, the 900-plus billionaires in the US have far too much influence over our elections, our economy, our government policies, and our news media. It's deeply troubling that these billionaires have far more power in shaping our nation's politics and policies than do average Americans, whether they're auto workers, teachers, nurses, carpenters, or supermarket cashiers.
This concentration of power among the ultra-rich is a threat to the very democracy we hold dear. It's urgent for Americans to create a movement to curb the power of billionaires and preserve what's left of our democratic system. The influence of billionaires supporting the most authoritarian president in US history, whether by donating to their campaign or bankrolling their gilded ballroom, is deeply disturbing and must be addressed.
