Beirut, Lebanon - The Lebanese government and media have reported that four people were killed in a series of overnight attacks carried out by the Israeli military within Lebanese territory. This latest incident comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the tensions between the two nations.
According to Lebanese officials, the attacks targeted several sites in southern Lebanon, near the border with Israel. The strikes, which occurred late on Tuesday night and into the early hours of Wednesday morning, have been condemned by the Lebanese government as a violation of the country's sovereignty.
