Deadly Tornadoes Ravage Midwest: Two Fatalities Reported

Powerful tornadoes rip through Illinois and Indiana, leaving devastation in their wake. Authorities warn of continued extreme weather threats in the region.
Midwest residents are reeling from the latest bout of extreme weather, as powerful tornadoes swept across parts of Illinois and Indiana, leaving at least two people dead. The deadly twisters come just a week after a separate tornado outbreak claimed the lives of eight individuals in the region.
According to authorities, the storms began developing on Wednesday afternoon, with a series of supercell thunderstorms spawning multiple tornadoes across the affected states. One of the hardest-hit areas was the town of Pontiac, Illinois, where a tornado struck, resulting in the two fatalities.
