Doha, Qatar - In a shocking blow to the global energy landscape, QatarEnergy CEO Saad al-Kaabi has revealed that devastating Iranian attacks have slashed 17% of the country's liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity for up to five years.
Speaking at a press conference, al-Kaabi stated that the attacks have caused significant damage to key QatarEnergy facilities, forcing the company to consider declaring force majeure on its long-term supply contracts for the foreseeable future.
