Elon Musk's Antitrust Lawsuit Fails as Court Rules Ad Boycott Legal

In a major blow, Elon Musk's lawsuit alleging an illegal ad boycott against his platform X (formerly Twitter) has been dismissed by a US District Judge, who ruled the boycott was perfectly legal.
Elon Musk, the high-profile CEO of X (formerly Twitter), has suffered a significant legal defeat after a US District Judge dismissed his lawsuit alleging that advertisers violated antitrust law by colluding on an ad boycott. The judge ruled that the boycott was perfectly legal, as Musk failed to show any evidence of consumer harm, which is a key requirement for an antitrust violation.
In her opinion, US District Judge Jane Boyle stated that Musk's arguments, which claimed the advertisers acted against their own best interests by avoiding advertising on his platform, did not plead facts demonstrating that consumers were harmed. Without proof of consumer harm, the judge determined there could be no antitrust violation, and therefore dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice.
