Families Flee Israeli Attacks, Seek Shelter in Sidon School

As violence escalates in southern Lebanon, displaced families have found refuge in a local school, seeking safety and support away from the conflict.
Sidon, Lebanon - In the wake of the recent Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon, a growing number of displaced families have sought shelter in a local school in the coastal city of Sidon. These families, forced to flee their homes due to the intensifying conflict, have found a temporary refuge in the classrooms and hallways of the school, where they now gather to seek safety, support, and a sense of community.
The school, once a place of learning, has transformed into a makeshift shelter, its walls and corridors now filled with the voices of children, the concerns of parents, and the uncertainty of those who have lost their homes and livelihoods. Families have brought with them whatever meager belongings they could salvage, creating temporary living spaces amidst the desks and chalkboards.
