Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is under increasing pressure to provide transparency around the state's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, but she has yet to commit to testifying before a Congressional panel investigating the matter.
Bondi faced questions from members of the House Oversight Committee during a closed-door briefing on Wednesday, but she refused to say whether she would agree to a deposition. The committee is probing how state and federal authorities dealt with the disgraced financier, who died by suicide in jail last year while facing sex trafficking charges.
