Florida AG Bondi Dodges Deposition Over Epstein Files

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi refuses to commit to testifying before a House panel about handling of Jeffrey Epstein files, raising transparency concerns.
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is under increasing pressure to provide transparency around the state's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, but she has yet to commit to testifying before a Congressional panel investigating the matter.
Bondi faced questions from members of the House Oversight Committee during a closed-door briefing on Wednesday, but she refused to say whether she would agree to a deposition. The committee is probing how state and federal authorities dealt with the disgraced financier, who died by suicide in jail last year while facing sex trafficking charges.
