Grandmothers Mentor Kenya's Youth Through Soccer

In Nyeri, Kenya, a group of grandmothers have formed a soccer team to stay active and inspire the next generation of players.
Nyeri, Kenya - In the heart of central Kenya, a remarkable group of grandmothers have taken to the soccer field, not just to stay active, but to mentor and inspire the next generation of players. These women, some in their 60s and 70s, have formed their own team, proving that age is no barrier to athletic excellence.
The Nyeri Grandmothers Soccer Club was founded with the goal of promoting physical fitness and instilling values of teamwork and determination in the local youth. Many of these grandmothers grew up playing soccer in their younger days, and now they're passing on their skills and experiences to the teenagers in their community.
