Grime artist Ghetts, whose real name is Justin Clarke-Samuel, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for a deadly hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a 20-year-old student in northeast London. The rapper was speeding and under the influence of alcohol when his BMW struck Nepalese national Yubin Tamang, fatally injuring the young man.
Ghetts failed to stop after the collision, compounding the tragedy. He later admitted to charges of dangerous driving and causing death by dangerous driving. The grime star's reckless actions have now resulted in a lengthy prison sentence as the justice system holds him accountable for the devastating consequences of his choices.
