Hannah Doran and Ro Reddick have been named the joint winners of the 48th annual award, each receiving a $25,000 cash prize and a signed print by artist Willem de Kooning.
Doran's play, The Meat Kings! (Inc) of Brooklyn Heights, and Reddick's Cold War Choir Practice were selected from a pool of eight finalists, showcasing the depth and diversity of emerging voices in the theater community.
