Gulf States Rocked by Retaliatory Strikes from Iran

Multiple Gulf Arab states hosting US military assets have been targeted in a wave of retaliatory strikes from Iran, escalating tensions in the region.
In a dramatic escalation of regional tensions, Iran has launched a series of retaliatory strikes against US military assets and bases across the Middle East. The attacks, which came just days after the US killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani in a drone strike, have targeted multiple Gulf Arab states known to host American troops and equipment.
According to Iranian officials, the strikes were in direct retaliation for the US assassination of Soleimani, who was the head of Iran's elite Quds Force. Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif stated that the attacks were "concluded" for now, but warned that Iran would take further military action if the US responded with more aggression.
