In a dramatic display of quick thinking and heroism, a Texas welder named Rene Villarreal-Albe is being hailed as a 'highway hero' for his life-saving actions on a Texas highway. Villarreal-Albe was driving on the highway when he noticed an unconscious man behind the wheel of a car, facing the possibility of a catastrophic crash.
Without hesitation, Villarreal-Albe maneuvered his truck in front of the car, using his back bumper to gradually slow down the vehicle until he was able to bring it to a complete stop. This heart-stopping rescue was captured on video by Villarreal-Albe's wife, Andrea Walker, and later shared on social media by his sister, Cortney Trinidad.
