Iconic Landmarks Dim Lights for Earth Hour's 20th Anniversary

As Earth Hour marks its 20th year, iconic monuments around the world will go dark to raise awareness about climate change and sustainability.
Earth Hour, the global environmental initiative, is celebrating its 20th edition this year. The event, which began in New Zealand, will slowly progress around the world, with famous landmarks and monuments temporarily turning off their lights to draw attention to the pressing issue of climate change.
Launched in 2007 by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Earth Hour has since become a yearly tradition, with millions of individuals, businesses, and organizations participating by switching off non-essential lights for one hour. The event aims to inspire people and governments to take action in addressing the challenges posed by global warming and environmental degradation.
