India Ranks High in Global Pollution Crisis: New Report Reveals

Three of the world's four most polluted cities are located in India, according to a new report. This alarming news comes as India's opposition leader Rahul Gandhi criticizes the government's foreign policy.
A recent report by IQAir, a Swiss air quality technology company, has revealed that three of the world's four most polluted cities are located in India. This news underscores the country's ongoing struggle with air pollution, which remains a major public health concern. The report found that the Indian cities of Bhiwadi, Noida, and Delhi occupy the second, third, and fourth spots respectively on the list of the world's most polluted cities.
The findings come as no surprise to many, as India has long grappled with the issue of air pollution, which is exacerbated by factors such as industrial emissions, vehicle exhaust, and the burning of agricultural waste. The problem is particularly acute in the capital city of Delhi, where air quality often reaches hazardous levels, especially during the winter months.
