Iran Demands US Flexibility in High-Stakes Nuclear Talks

Iran's foreign minister calls for the US to drop 'excessive demands' as critical nuclear negotiations continue, emphasizing the need for serious and realistic diplomacy.
Iran has made it clear that the United States must drop its 'excessive demands' if the ongoing nuclear negotiations are to succeed, according to the country's foreign minister. The comments come as the two sides engage in high-stakes talks aimed at reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Speaking at a press conference in Tehran, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the importance of seriousness and realism in the negotiations. He stated that Iran is ready to reach an agreement, but only if the US is willing to make the necessary compromises.
