Iran Tensions Escalate as Tehran Vows to Shut Hormuz Strait

Ongoing clashes between the US, Israel, and Iran as Tehran threatens to completely close the strategic Hormuz Strait if power plants are attacked.
Tehran has vowed to completely close the Hormuz Strait if its power plants are targeted, as the conflict between Iran and the US-Israel alliance continues to escalate. The warning comes after Israeli forces reportedly blew up the Qasimiyah Bridge in southern Lebanon, in an apparent attack on Iranian-backed Hezbollah.
The Hormuz Strait, a crucial global oil choke point, has been a major point of contention between Iran and the West. Tehran has previously threatened to shut down the strait in response to heightened tensions, and this latest threat further ratchets up the stakes in the ongoing standoff.
Iranian officials have made it clear that any attack on the country's critical infrastructure, including its power plants, will be met with a swift and decisive response.
