Iranians are grappling with a harsh reality as their early hopes for a swift regime change have faded nearly a month after the start of the US-Israeli strikes on Iran. Many who once believed the regime would quickly crumble now find themselves disappointed, left to confront the resilience of the government they sought to overthrow.
In the aftermath of the initial attacks, a sense of optimism had taken hold among some Iranian civilians, who believed the strikes would catalyze a long-awaited revolution. However, as the conflict has dragged on, that sense of hope has given way to a growing sense of resignation and uncertainty about the future.
