Beirut, Lebanon - Hundreds of mourners gathered in the southern suburbs of Beirut to bid a final farewell to three Lebanese journalists killed in an Israeli air strike last week. The somber funeral procession was a stark reminder of the grave risks and sacrifices endured by members of the media reporting from the frontlines of conflict zones.
The three victims - Mahmoud Rashed, Mohammad Toufeili, and Hamza Turkiya - were employees of the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar TV network. They were killed when their vehicle was struck by an Israeli missile during coverage of the ongoing tensions between Israel and Lebanon.
