Kia's Compact EV3 Arriving in the US with 320-Mile Range

Kia is bringing its compact electric SUV, the EV3, to the US market this year, offering drivers a range of up to 320 miles. The announcement was made at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday, where the automaker revealed details about the 2027 model that will be available stateside.
The EV3 has been available overseas since 2024, launching first in South Korea and Europe. The North American version appears to maintain the slightly boxy design of the current 2026 model, but Kia has updated the center console to remove the controversial "chopping board" armrest that was present in the original design.
In addition to the standard configuration, the EV3 will also be offered in a long-range version, both of which will be available in the US market. Kia has also introduced a new glossy black "Nightfall" appearance package option for the North American release.
