Kurdish Forces Poised to Strike Iran Over Cross-Border Attacks

Exclusive: Pro-American Kurdish groups in Iraq are readying for a potential incursion into Iran in response to recent attacks on their territory by Iranian forces.
Tensions are rising along the Iraq-Iran border as pro-American Kurdish forces in the region prepare for a possible incursion into Iran in retaliation for recent cross-border attacks by Iranian troops. The Kurdish Democratic Party of Iran, a key US ally, has been the target of several strikes from Iran in recent months, prompting the group to consider launching its own operation to push back against the Islamic Republic.
A senior member of the party, speaking on condition of anonymity, told our news team that the group's Peshmerga fighters are currently on high alert and mobilizing resources for a potential counterattack. "We cannot allow Iran to continue these unprovoked attacks on our people," the source said. "If Tehran does not cease its aggression, we will have no choice but to take matters into our own hands."
