As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, the national festivities have taken on a bittersweet tone for many Latino Americans. While some eagerly anticipate commemorating their country's rich history and values, others have been left questioning whether they truly belong in a nation that has, at times, made them feel like outsiders.
