Meta Snaps Up AI Agent Platform Moltbook for Talent Boost

In a strategic move to strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities, tech giant Meta Platforms has announced the acquisition of Moltbook, a social networking platform designed specifically for AI agents. The deal will see the co-founders of Moltbook, Matt Schlicht and Ben Parr, joining Meta's AI research division, Meta Superintelligence Labs, led by former Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang.
Moltbook, a platform that enables AI agents to interact and collaborate with one another, has been a hub for advancing the field of machine intelligence. By bringing the Moltbook team into its fold, Meta aims to further bolster its expertise and research efforts in this rapidly evolving domain.
