New Progressive Campus Movement Takes on Turning Point

A progressive group, More Perfect Union, launches a campaign to counter the influence of conservative student organization Turning Point on college campuses across the US.
In a strategic move to challenge the conservative dominance on college campuses, a progressive group called More Perfect Union has emerged as a formidable competitor to Turning Point USA, a prominent right-wing student organization. Faiz Shakir, the executive director of More Perfect Union and a senior adviser to Senator Bernie Sanders, has cast the organization as a progressive response along class lines to an elite world of universities still captured by great wealth.
More Perfect Union's mission is to empower and mobilize students from diverse backgrounds, offering an alternative to the conservative narrative often propagated by Turning Point USA. Shakir believes that the progressive movement must confront the influence of wealth and privilege on college campuses, where the conservative agenda has long held sway.
