One Nation Ditches Adelaide Candidate After UK Warrant Claims

South Australian party One Nation cuts ties with election hopeful Aoi Baxter following reports of an outstanding warrant for his arrest in the UK.
One Nation, the right-wing political party in South Australia, has parted ways with their candidate for the state seat of Adelaide, Aoi Baxter, after reports surfaced claiming there is a warrant for his arrest in the United Kingdom.
Baxter, who was previously known as Trent Baxter, allegedly failed to appear at a court hearing in the UK, according to an ABC News report. The UK court confirmed to the ABC that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of a man named Trent Baxter.
The party's decision to dump Baxter from their ticket comes just days before the South Australian state election scheduled for this Saturday.
In a statement, One Nation said they had terminated Baxter's candidacy following the revelations about the alleged UK warrant. The party's state leader, Mark Latham, stated that they had not been aware of Baxter's past issues when he was selected as the candidate.
