Peptide Treatments Gain Popularity as Government Considers Policy Changes

Government may allow compounding pharmacies to produce synthetic peptides, despite lack of safety data. Wellness industry eagerly awaits the potential regulation shift.
The wellness industry is closely watching for a potential policy shift that could open the floodgates for a new class of synthetic peptide treatments. A month ago, Health Secretary Kennedy indicated that his agency would soon give the green light to compounding pharmacies to produce these increasingly popular yet largely untested products.
