Petroleum Shipments Set to Restore Normalcy in Strait of Hormuz

Energy Secretary Chris Wright predicts the Strait of Hormuz will see a return to regular tanker traffic within a few weeks, signaling a recovery in global oil supply chains.
Energy Secretary Chris Wright has expressed optimism that normal levels of tanker traffic will resume in the Strait of Hormuz in the coming weeks. The strait, a critical global chokepoint for oil shipments, has seen disrupted traffic in recent months due to geopolitical tensions in the region.
According to Wright, the tankers currently anchored in Muscat, Oman are expected to begin moving through the strait within a matter of a few weeks at most. This suggests a return to pre-disruption levels of petroleum shipments through one of the world's most vital maritime trade routes.
