Protesters Rally at US Embassy in London, Demand End to Iran Strikes

Thousands of activists march to the US embassy in London, calling for an end to US and Israeli military strikes on Iran amid rising tensions in the region.
Thousands of protesters from various activist groups, including the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), Stop The War, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Muslim Association of Britain, the Palestinian Forum in Britain, and Friends Of Al-Aqsa, gathered on Millbank near Westminster before marching to the US embassy in central London on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking outside the embassy, Zarah Sultana told the protesters: 'we will not be ignored again'. The demonstrators were united in their call for the United States and Israel to cease their military strikes on Iran, which have escalated tensions in the region.

The protest comes amid a turbulent geopolitical landscape, with the US and its allies engaged in a tense standoff with Iran over its nuclear program and regional influence. The demonstrators are seeking to amplify their voices and pressure policymakers to pursue diplomatic solutions rather than military action.
Throughout the march, the crowd chanted slogans and carried banners expressing their opposition to the ongoing strikes and their desire for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Organizers emphasized the importance of sustained public pressure to prevent further escalation and potential conflict.
The protest in London is part of a broader global movement against the escalating tensions between the US, its allies, and Iran. Similar demonstrations have been held in cities around the world, as citizens and activists seek to voice their concerns and call for a de-escalation of the crisis.
As the march concluded at the US embassy, the protesters vowed to continue their campaign, pledging that they 'will not be ignored' as they demand an end to the military strikes and a return to diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict.
