Putin Plots Salisbury-Style Attacks, Exiled Oligarch Warns

Mikhail Khodorkovsky, a Russian billionaire in exile, says Putin may stage another Novichok attack in the UK unless the government takes stronger action against the Kremlin.
Putin is likely to stage another Salisbury-style attack on UK soil unless the government adopts more aggressive tactics against the Kremlin, the exiled Russian billionaire Mikhail Khodorkovsky has warned.
The former oil tycoon has emerged as a leading figure in Russian diaspora opposition circles and claims to be well-informed about current thinking and developments among Moscow's elite. Khodorkovsky says Russian security services may seek to create a 'sense of vulnerability' in Britain, potentially through another nerve agent attack similar to the 2018 Novichok poisonings in Salisbury.
The 2018 attack, which targeted former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, sparked a major diplomatic crisis between the UK and Russia. Two Russian intelligence officers were later identified as the primary suspects, though Moscow denied any involvement.
