Qatar's Energy Titan Pauses Operations After Iran Strikes

QatarEnergy, the world's largest liquefied natural gas company, suspends production in wake of attacks on Saudi oil infrastructure by Iran.
QatarEnergy, the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) company, has halted production after Iran carried out attacks on Saudi Arabia's energy infrastructure. The move comes just days after Saudi Arabia announced the temporary closure of one of its largest oil facilities following a series of drone strikes.
The attacks on Saudi Arabia's energy sector have sent shockwaves through the global energy markets, highlighting the fragility of the region's critical infrastructure. QatarEnergy, which produces more than 77 million tons of LNG annually, has now been forced to temporarily suspend operations as a precautionary measure.
