Casely, a prominent power bank manufacturer, has reannounced a recall of over 429,000 of its 5,000mAh Power Pods wireless power banks following a fatality and additional reports of the devices overheating, expanding, or catching fire.
The original recall was first issued in April 2025 after the company received 51 reports of battery issues, resulting in 6 minor burn injuries.
