Russia's Illegal Crimea Occupation: UK Condemns Ongoing Aggression

UK envoy slams Russia's unjustified Crimea takeover, demands end to occupation and aggression against Ukraine at OSCE meeting.
Russia's illegal occupation of Crimea and continued aggression against Ukraine has been condemned by the UK in a statement to the OSCE. UK Chargé d'Affaires and Deputy Ambassador James Ford reaffirmed that Crimea is part of Ukraine and called on Russia to end its occupation and cease its wider war against the Ukrainian people.
In his remarks, Ford denounced Russia's attempts to justify its unlawful seizure of the Crimean peninsula in 2014. He made it clear that the UK and its allies will never recognize this illegal annexation, which violated international law and the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
