Science Museum Group Welcomes Reappointed Trustees

The Prime Minister has reappointed two seasoned professionals to the Science Museum Group's Board of Trustees for a four-year term, bolstering the organization's leadership.
Science Museum Group, one of the UK's most prominent cultural institutions, is set to maintain its strong leadership as the Prime Minister has reappointed two experienced Trustees to the organization's board. Professor Stephen Belcher CBE and Tim Dugher have both been reappointed for a four-year term, ensuring continuity and expertise at the highest levels of the Group.
Professor Belcher, who currently serves as the Chief Executive of the Met Office, first joined the Science Museum Group's Board of Trustees in 2018. His extensive background in atmospheric science and climate research has proven invaluable in guiding the Group's strategic direction, particularly in the areas of scientific education and public engagement.
Dugher, on the other hand, is a seasoned business leader with a wealth of experience in the technology and media sectors. As the Chief Executive Officer of the Video Standards Council, he has brought a unique perspective to the Trustees, helping the Science Museum Group navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
