Seoul, South Korea - South Korean President Lee Jae Myung is visiting India this week for high-level trade talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders are expected to discuss ways to boost bilateral trade and investment between their countries, with the goal of reaching $50 billion in trade by 2030.
India and South Korea have enjoyed increasingly close economic ties in recent years, with two-way trade reaching over $30 billion in 2022. However, both governments believe there is significant untapped potential to expand commercial cooperation, particularly in sectors like technology, manufacturing, and renewable energy.
