Sudan Condemns Uganda's Meeting with Rapid Support Forces Leader

Sudan slams Uganda for hosting RSF paramilitary boss Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, calling it an 'affront to humanity' and a violation of international law.
Sudan has accused Uganda of flouting international law by meeting with the leader of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo. The Sudanese government condemned the move, describing it as an 'affront to humanity'.
The dispute centers around the RSF, a powerful paramilitary group that has been involved in the ongoing conflict in Sudan. The group is accused of committing numerous human rights abuses, including the killing of protesters during the 2019 uprising that led to the overthrow of longtime President Omar al-Bashir.
In a statement, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry said that Uganda's decision to host Dagalo was a 'flagrant violation of international laws and norms' and that it would 'undermine the efforts to achieve a comprehensive political solution' to the crisis in Sudan.
The ministry also called on the international community to intervene and 'hold Uganda accountable for its actions', which it said were 'an affront to humanity and a betrayal of the values of peace and security in the region'.
